Kikuzo (菊蔵) and Ogin (お吟) are an elderly couple who are first seen in the tea-shop, but they leave town after the tea-shop burns down where they offer to take Fuu with them, but she declines.
Appearances[]
Kikuzo and Ogin both have light brown hair in the style of a bun, in which Ogin (the wife) has two buns with a hair stick inside them. Kikuzo's bun is more in the back of his head. Kikuzo wears a green kimono while Ogin wears a pink kimono.
Personalities[]
Kikuzo and Ogin are old people who don't like conflict or fighting. They just try their best to run the tea-shop, and are very nice people.
Etymology[]
- The name Kikuzo means "chrysanthemum" (菊) (kiku) and "warehouse, cellar, magazine" (蔵) (zo).
Trivia[]
- Their names are never used in the episode, but the eventually appeared in the Champloo Roman Album.
