Munetada Tajima (但馬 宗忠 Tajima Munetada) is a character who appears in the opening scene of episode 10: "Lethal Lunacy" He is from the Fu'un Sekisai school and is a swordmaker who is considered one of the best in the land.

Appearance[]

Tajima wears a light brown kimono with a dark obi belt and casually holds a samurai toothpick. He has a receding hairstyle with sideburns that curl upwards. He has a noticeably large papule on the left side of his nose and pronounced wrinkles due to his older age. He is also portrayed with dark lines under his eyes and has thick eyebrows.

Personality[]

Tajima is portrayed as a jovial and friendly man who is passionate about his craft. He is eager to help anyone who needs his services, regardless of their background. He takes great pride in creating swords that are both beautiful and functional. Tajima is also very knowledgeable about the history and techniques of sword making, and is always happy to share his expertise with others. He is shown as a strong, confident leader who is willing to take charge and make tough decisions. He is unafraid to confront others and assert his authority, often using intimidation tactics to get what he wants. Tajima also has a deep sense of loyalty, particularly to his family, and will go to great lengths to protect them. However, Tajima's need for control and power can sometimes lead to arrogance and a disregard for others' feelings and needs. He is quick to anger when he feels threatened or challenged, and is not afraid to use violence to get his way.
